Just this week I posted a post on my blog questioning weather or not WWDC would go ahead. Well this week Apple revealed all via a post on their Newsroom site. [1]
With the worldwide threat of COVID-19 around the world many worldwide events have been cancelled from the Premier league to the E3 gaming conference and this week as expected Apple announced that the WWDC would be cancelled. Ish.
This year Apple will be doing an online only WWDC event which Apple claim will be the best year yet! They haven’t actually announced what the exact date for the event is yet just that it is going to be June.
Craig Federighi Apples senior vice president of Software engineering. says on their website that “With all the new products and technologies we’ve been working on, WWDC 2020 is going to be big”.
I actually wrote the above bit two days ago and since this Apple have developed more news and they announced that they are closing all their stores outside of greater China.
