My iPhone event summary
This week (13th October 2020) Apple hosted a special event which many people were looking forward to. Apple announced several new phones including the 12, 12 Mini and 12 Pro. They finally announced a new HomePod too called the HomePod mini for just £99.
Read my summary here to read more details about each product announced and my thoughts come along too. Unfortunately, they didn’t announce anything about the rumoured AirTags.
Apple TV+ trials extended
This week People who got the 1-year free trial to Apple TV+ have been getting emails about their free trials being extended till it is likely to be extended because of COVID. This is because a lot of filming has been delayed and Apple are probably haven’t got all the content out at this time which they were hoping would be out. [1]
New MagSafe cases arriving to customers
A report here from 9to5Mac [2] has got pictures from several Twitter users who have started to receive there new MagSafe adaptors and cases. It’s worth taking a look to see the new packaging and how much bigger the MagSafe power adapter is compared to the Apple Watch Charger.

iPad Air PREORDER NOW
They didn’t when it would be launching on the event but quietly did it on their Newsroom when the online Apple store reopened Friday. The Apple iPad Air 4th Generation is now available for pre-order and will be available instore the same date as the iPhone 12 Launch on Friday the 23rd.
