Apple Event, New iPhone leather sleeves and HomePod mini preorder now! // Kyle's TechNews Update 9th

It’s been awhile since I wrote my thoughts on the latest TechNews so I thought I would start the week off with looking at the latest and once again there’s a lot of Apple news to talk about.

HomePod Mini Pre-order out now!

Apples cheaper and smaller HomePod is now available for preorder. At just £99 / $99 it is much cheaper than its bigger brother. The sad news is that if you were hoping to get one before Christmas your chance is slipping away. If you go on to Apples site now and select Space grey your Delivery is expected to come between 15thto the 22nd of December. White does come a week earlier.

Also available for pre order since last Friday is the iPhone 12 Pro Max and the iPhone 12 mini.

Apple Event TOMORROW

Tomorrow Apple are hosting their 4th Apple Event of the year! This one is expected to be all about their ARM Macs which will be using special Apple Silicon chips instead of Intel. It’s going to be an exciting watch and I’ll be reacting live via my Twitter as well as doing a summary on my blog.

iOS 14.2

Apple released iOS 14.2 on the 5th of November to the public and this update has several new features including over 100 new emojis and some new wallpapers. As well as some new Airplay features on the lock screen and the control centre.

Even more iPhone accessories now available

Even more accessories that are made by Apple are now available, the leather MagSafe case which this year is £10 more at £59 and the pretty cool leather sleeve case which is priced at a steep £129. Something else now on the site that wasn’t before is the MagSafe Duo charger which will let you charge your iPhone and Apple Watch at the same time using MagSafe. This is priced at £129
