Pokémon GO COVID-19 News

Pokémon go will be even easier to play at home soon, with Niantic this week announcing an array of upcoming updates to the game. Including a Raid pass which you will be able to buy in the shop so you can play Raids remotely. (Will be limited to what shows up in your nearby) At launch these Raid passes will be 100 Pokecoins in the shop which Niantic say is “A special discounted price”. Still for people like me who don’t have a gym within good distance or when you’re stuck at home due to isolation it’s a great feature to keep you going in the game.

Not just that but there’s things coming like a bonus field task this means you won’t have to go outside and spin a stop. There’s a lot of more exciting updates coming to game which makes it pretty easy now to play the game without leaving the house! Keep an eye out!

Pre-order the NEW second generation iPhone SE now!

Now you can pre-order the new iPhone SE which Apple announced this week. It’s available for £419 ($399) on Apple’s site. If you don’t know much about it, you can read my previous blog post all about it here.

Apple TV+ Shares a trailer for “Home”

A new documentary series started this week on Apple TV+ called Home. I’m going to watching it very soon and be writing A (Non-Critic) review on it. This is what Apple say it’s about [2] “Discover the ground-breaking ideas and inspiring stories behind the world’s most imaginative dwellings”.

You can check out trailer here:

Check out the Mac Pro Wheels

This week Apple officially released the Mac Pro wheels as their own package, and for people like me who are a bit geeky when it comes to this, take a look at this article on 9to5Mac https://9to5mac.com/2020/04/18/apples-700-mac-pro-wheels-kit/

They cost $700 for the 4 wheels but let’s not forget this is professional device and not for consumer use. [3]

Keyboards for iPad

That really cool Magic keyboard that Apple announced with the new iPad Pro is finally available to purchase as a standalone product. It’s compatible with the iPad Pro 12.9 inch (3rd & 4th Generation) and the iPad Pro 11 inch (1st & 2nd generation). It’s priced at a fairly large price of $299 / £299. (It does come with that cool trackpad though!)

If you’re not sure what keyboard you want Apple now has a special webpage on their site called “Keyboards for iPad” you can check it out here: https://www.apple.com/ipad-keyboards/

Stay safe and Stay home if you can in these strange times. Have a good week and thanks for reading.
